Welcome to Sabrina Jordan Writes.
It feels strange and exciting to finally have a little corner of the world dedicated to stories, imagination, and the characters that have been quietly living in my head for far too long. If you found your way here, thank you for stopping by. Pull up a chair, settle in, and stay awhile.
Writing has always been something deeply personal for me. I have always loved stories that make you feel something, the kind that linger long after the final page, settle into your chest, and refuse to leave quietly. The ones filled with longing, tension, beauty, heartbreak, and just enough danger to make your pulse quicken.
Which brings me to the reason this blog exists.
I am currently working on a new romance novel set in 1800s London, wrapped in candlelight, whispered secrets, velvet gowns, dangerous promises, and yes... vampires.
Before you picture glitter or tidy little love stories, let me set the mood.
Think grand ballrooms hiding desperation beneath polished smiles. Fog curling through quiet gardens after midnight. Ancient creatures with too much history stitched into their bones and far too many reasons to guard their hearts. Think longing that aches. Power that seduces. Romance sharpened by danger.
At the center of it all is a story about love, survival, sacrifice, and what happens when desire collides with the parts of ourselves we fear most.
I don’t want to give too much away just yet, because part of the fun is uncovering the shadows piece by piece, but if you love dark romance, gothic atmosphere, emotional tension, morally complicated characters, historical settings, and stories that ache a little before they heal, I think you’ll feel at home here.
This space will be where I share updates, behind-the-scenes glimpses into the writing process, snippets of inspiration, bookish thoughts, and probably the occasional ramble about characters who refuse to behave.
Writing a novel sometimes feels like wandering through fog holding a lantern that only lights three feet ahead. Equal parts beautiful and mildly unhinged. But there is something magical about building a world from nothing and watching it slowly breathe.
So welcome.
I’m glad you’re here at the very beginning.
The night is still young, and we have a story to tell.
With love (and perhaps a few secrets),
Sabrina Jordan
P.S. Tell me in the comments: what is your favorite vampire story or dark romance? I’m always looking to add to my ever-growing reading pile.
